KUB KIT construction toy family made of solid wood

The love of play - we think - can be transmitted only by the loving care of the elder generation. The child, who isn’t played with, just swamped with toys, doesn’t find the pleasure of creation. Playing together with our children, grandchildren is important, because this gives the take-off and direction for the playful creation. The created object gets a meaning this way, as it is used for further playing, and the children deal with it. This ideas started us to work out a useable construction toy.

KUB KIT consists of elements of different sizes and shapes, which can be attached from several directions. With a little help the child understands it soon, and enters on the way of a development in the approach.

We took the following for granted.

We can only make a toy, which is safe, durable, reliable and nice at the same time. It cannot end up in the corner, because it can be expanded as the child is growing. We hope, that this concept comes fully true in the KUB KIT toy family.

We made first the Hungarian, then the international patent announcement (No. 220498) for the idea. After serious tests and necessary modifications, the first manufactured pieces of the toy were sent for TÜV-analysis (report No. B 2092147 E 01) and we got a qualification complying with the requirements of the standards EN 71. Our toy took part at the competition of Grand Prix of Hungarian Products 2001.

The KUB KIT got a certificate in 2001.

For the fabrication of the toy we use jointfree, dried hardwood (maple, hornbeam), and the painting material has a certificate complying with the EN 71 standards, it is a water-based coloring and varnishing mordant. The accuracy of manufacturing is guaranteed by computer-controlled precision machines, piece-by-piece-control and assembly before packaging. Packaging material is made of recycled cardboard, with minimal use of coloring material, without the use of laminating. The bigger packages are cardboard-based. The starting kits are packed in BOPP foil with color-printed closing handle. The vacuum-formed packaging with colored backing is under developing, which will be more secure to distribute.

The toy-family - thanks to its modular system - consists of starting kits (numbered "0"), and - at the time - of medium sized numbered kits, for the assembly of one recommended shape. With the expansion of manufacturing bigger, expandable kits and - according to our plans - supplementary packages will be released. As a newness, we release the simpler looking day-nursery group packages, suitable for the assembly of more objects at the same time.

The KUB KIT toy family maximally measures up to high quality expectations, even there are also manual operations during manufacturing. We think, the toy family in its present condition is not the toy of big runs, not a mass-produced article. This toy expands with new elements, beside the existence of the basic elements, is under steady development.

Our company takes exchange guarantee - in case of usage according the instruction manual - in case of any damages, breakages caused by not visible inner errors of the wood material and not noticeable by the control, this guarantee of course does not refer to willful breakages, straining and visible abuse.
